Arcane: League of Legends release date, cast and trailer for the animated Netflix series

Arcane is Riot Games’ first TV series based upon League of Legends.

The release of this animated Netflix series will premiere this month in three different acts.

According to the associate brand manager at Riot games, Ricardo Kailis said that the new series is targeted at those aged 16 and above.

What is the Arcane release date?

Made by the same creators of the online game League of Legends, the Arcane film will be released in three distinct acts throughout November 2021. The first release on Netflix will be with three episodes on November 7.

One week later on November 13, will see the second act released and then the last and final act from the new series will be released on November 20.

Who is the Arcane cast?

Players of the game League of Legends will recognise some familiar faces in the new Arcanes film. Of these include sisters Jinx, who is played by Ella Purnell and Vi who is played by Hailee Steinfeld.

However, players will also be introduced by new characters Jayce (Kevin Alejandro) and Caitlyn (Katie Leung). Other characters in the cast and the actors they are played by including others who will be citizens of Zaun and play significant roles in how the evolving world is shaped. This includes:

Silco – Jason Spisak

Mel – Toks Olagundoye

Vander – JB Blanc

Viktor – Harry Lloyd

Is there an Arcane trailer?

The official Arcane trailer is now available to watch on the League of League YouTube channel. The trailer hints that Arcane is set to be full of drama, action and battles, as it delves into the relationship between the two sisters, Vi and Jinx.

Arcane is also the first Netflix series to make its first appearance, whilst also co-streaming exclusively on Twitch. This means content creators on Twitch will be able to broadcast themselves watching and reacting to the first episode of Arcane.
