Update 1.000.005 is now live on ARC Raiders, and Embark has released the first post-release patch to fix some of the major issues that players have encountered on day one.
While the general performance on the first day has been pretty consistent, players have encountered occasional stutters, FPS drops, and server-related issues. Most of those problems should now be resolved. Let's look at what to expect from the new patch and how it could affect your gameplay.

If you benefited from accidental key drops, look away as Embark has fixed such instances.

Critical issues related to memory leaks have also been fixed, which were being caused by Steam avatars.
- Fixed a memory leak caused by Steam avatar pictures.
- Fixed a bug where Steam avatars wouldn't show up on the social tab.
Incidentally, Augments continue to remain a mess. While the latest patch had fixes for the problems, Embark has since then rolled back four changes.
