ARC Raiders goes full ‘Don’t shoot!’ with the Shared Watch event

If you’re always unsure whether to shoot on sight or be friendly in ARC Raiders, the latest Shared Watch event should make it easier, as it’s all about making friends and blasting ARC.

The Shared Watch event in ARC Raiders kicks off with update 1.15.0 on Feb. 10 and runs until Feb. 24. Shared Watch is an annual holiday that celebrates those who look out for fellow Raiders. During the event, you can earn merits by destroying, assisting, and damaging the ARC to claim rewards. At the same time, you won’t earn any merits from PvP encounters.

The event reward track offers 21 rewards for you to earn, including the Slugger outfit, 150 Raider Tokens, a Snap Hook, an Acoustic Guitar, a Tactical MK.3 (Healing) blueprint, and a Vita Spray blueprint. There are also a couple more minor cosmetic rewards.

Update 1.15.0 brings back the Cold Snap map condition, covering outdoor maps in snow once again. As before, maps with the Cold Snap condition offer more valuable loot and double the points towards Trials, but you must be careful of Frostbite damage. Candleberries are still there, but now they aren’t tied to any event, and you can make and throw snowballs.

Apart from new playable content, there’s a new Vulpine set in the store and a couple of bug fixes. Embark Studios fixed the Trailblazer Grenade so that it no longer deals damage through walls. It now deals more damage to small enemies but less damage to bigger enemies such as the Leaper and Bastion.

There are also improvements to instances where players sometimes could not reconnect after disconnecting from a game, and where trials’ objective rewards could fail to grant at the end of a round due to a timeout.
