Bollywood actor and producer, Arbaaz Khan walked the ramp for designer Shaina NC, but he was not alone while sashaying down the ramp. But he was accompanied by a special guest, his step-mother, Helen and the duo stunned on the ramp wearing regal creations by the ace designer.
Popularly known in the fashion fraternity as the Queen of Drapes, Shaina holds the record for innovatively draping the sari in 54 different styles. She is one of the few designers who feels that glamour without purpose is meaningless and comes forward for all causes good and noble. Her latest show was dedicated to the cancer patients aid association and the collection was a tribute to the lehariyas and bandhnis of Rajasthan.
The collection showcased vibrant colours, detachable borders and a tribute to the sari. Shaina’s show today, emphasized on the importance of colours in keeping our country united through testing times and was a tribute to these 35 accomplished women from varied walks of life.
While Arbaaz looked dapper in a long black textured bandhgala, a heavy stole and pyjama, Helen looked elegant in a black and gold sari.
As Helen joined Shaina and Arbaaz on the ramp, the actor held her hand and made the moment totally click worthy.
Also spotted on the ramp was celebrity fitness trainer, Yasmin Karachiwala, who looked elegant in a Shaina NC drape.
