‘Arab Gulf Security 2’ Exercise Kicks off in UAE

The “Arab Gulf Security 2” exercise kicked off in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday with the aim of boosting coordination and cooperation between the security and police forces of the Gulf region.

Forces will be trained on responding to crises and emergencies. They will bolster their capabilities in confronting common threats and challenges and hone their security skills.

Their first field training witnessed exercises using live ammunition and various simulated security scenarios.

The forces showed high determination and readiness to confront different security threats.

Commander of the Saudi unit taking part in the drill, Awad bin Mashouh al-Enezi said the Kingdom’s forces had prepared for the exercise at a training camp in Riyadh.
