The Saudi-led Arab coalition thwarted on Saturday an imminent attack by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen in the Hodeidah province.
The coalition said the terrorist militias sought to carry out the attack using two booby-trapped vessels.
The vessels were destroyed in the Salif area as they were being prepared to be launched, it added.
The coalition slammed the Houthis for their continued violation of the Stockholm agreement on Hodeidah and for continuing their hostile attacks in the province.
It warned that the Houthis continue to pose a threat to international navigation and trade in the Red Sea.
