The Saudi-led Arab coalition announced on Wednesday that it has intercepted and downed three armed drones over Yemen that were fired by the terrorist Iran-backed Houthi militias.
The coalition slammed the hostile Houthi escalation as they have attempted to target civilians and civilian locations.
It stressed that it was taking and implementing the necessary operational measures to protect civilians from the hostile attacks.
On Tuesday, the coalition announced that it had destroyed a platform in Yemen’s Sanaa that was used by the Houthis to launch drones towards Saudi Arabia.
The drones were used in an attack against Abha International Airport that left eight people wounded and damaged a civilian plane from shrapnel that fell from the destroyed aircraft.
