The Saudi-led Arab coalition said on Monday that the joint committee between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates helped ease tensions in Yemen.
The Yemeni parties have complied with the call for calm, said coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki.
On the targeting of positions in Dhamar, he stressed that the Iran-backed Houthi militias were transporting ballistic missiles and drones to the region.
The strike targeted a drone warehouse and was in line with international law, he added.
The militias should be held fully accountable for concealing their military positions in civilian areas, he remarked.
The Houthis are also storing drones and rockets in the Saada and Amran regions, Maliki revealed.
