The Arab Coalition supporting the legitimate government in Yemen responded on Thursday to a distress call from a commercial vessel west of the Red Sea port of Hodeidah.
The call was made by commercial ship Navarino after an Indian crew member suffered health problems, said the coalition.
A coalition ship provided the necessary medical assistance to the patient and then evacuated him to a hospital in southern Saudi Arabia, the coalition added.
On Tuesday, the coalition said it evacuated a crew member of an Iranian ship for medical reasons off Yemen's Hodeidah port.
