The Arab Coalition has started an operation to destroy the network and capabilities of drones in a Houthi camp at the presidential palace area in Sanaa.
"The Coalition staged a selective military operation to destroy a legal military target," a statement by the Coalition issued by the state-run Saudi News Agency (SPA) said on Saturday.
The Coalition said the air raids targeted a cave used by the Houthis to store drones in a camp in the vicinity of the presidential complex, which is now controlled by the Houthi militias.
Earlier this month, Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki said that an operation targeted a Houthi drones manufacturing plant and a store containing launch pads.
He said that the move was part of a series of others aimed at destroying the militias’ drone capabilities in Yemen.
