The Saudi-led Arab coalition said on Tuesday that it has intercepted and destroyed an armed drone fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen towards Saudi Arabia.
Coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki said the aircraft was fired at the southern city of Khamis Mushait.
In remarks on Monday, the coalition accused the terrorist Houthis of committing “grave mistakes and terrible violations of international humanitarian law.”
It vowed that the joint coalition forces will wisely deal with the violations and will act in line with international humanitarian law.
