The Arab Coalition said it had intercepted and destroyed explosive drones launched by Yemen's Houthis on Sunday targeting Saudi Arabia.
Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki said two drones were fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias targeting Khamis Mushait in the Kingdom.
The attempted attack was “systematic and deliberately targeted civilians and structures,” the Coalition said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
This is the fifth such attack in four days, the latest of which was on Saturday when the Coalition intercepted and downed an explosive-laden drone launched by the Houthis towards Abha airport.
