The Coalition for the Support of Legitimacy in Yemen said that it has asked for the "cessation of inflight refueling support" from the United States.
"Recently the Kingdom and the coalition has increased its capability to independently conduct inflight refueling in Yemen," the Saudi-led Coalition said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.
"As a result, in consultation with the United States, the Coalition has requested cessation of inflight refueling support for its operations in Yemen,” it said.
The statement also said the Arab Coalition hoped upcoming UN peace negotiations would lead to a settlement in line with Security Council Resolution 2216, which would see an end to aggression from the Iran-backed Houthi militias.
