A tv spot for Aquaman has revealed new footage from the upcoming DC superhero movie.
Jason Momoa reprises his role from Justice League, following on from the events of that film and seeing the character, named Arthur Curry, battle with those on land who threaten Atlantis, and those in Atlantis who want to battle the land-dwellers.
This is the first solo film for the character, with a solo film also planned for Justice League's The Flash (Ezra Miller). Other DC films set for release are Shazam!, Wonder Woman 1984, and Birds of Prey.
Aquaman also stars Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna (Aquaman's mother), Amber Heard as Mera (raised by Queen Atlanna but not her daughter), Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko (Aquaman's mentor), and Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master (Aquaman's half-brother and the movie's villain).
Directed by Saw's James Wan, Aquaman reaches UK cinemas 14 December.
