Many people check their smartphones first thing in morning. Many scoff at it and even call it an obsession, but the fact is that smartphones have made life easier and with the right apps they can make your morning clutter-free. Here are some apps that can make your life easy.

Ubernet

The popularity of Facebook and Twitter hasn’t deterred people from using other social media services. Going through Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, and Linkedin one by one can be hectic and time consuming. Ubernet allows users to manage their multiple social media accounts from a single page. User can view and schedule posts on Facebook and Instagram and see and comment on posts and shares made by friends. You don’t even have to download any of these apps separately. The free version allows users to login and use over four social media platforms. The paid version (Rs.60) allows access to unlimited number of platforms. Interestingly, Ubernet also provides location based information on restaurants, cafes, shops, malls. This information is sourced from Foursquare.

Morning Kit is an alarm app that goes a step further by combining the alarm clock with a bunch of useful features such as calendar, news and weather update. You can check your schedule for the day, read news and check out an inspirational quote every day. You can add new themes to give it a funky look, but for that you have to upgrade to the paid version which costs Rs.183. The app offers all its features on a single page without looking cluttered or becoming confusing.

Morning is the best time for running and other exercises. First Run not just keeps track but helps people ingrain running into their daily schedule. It is designed more like a personal trainer with training programmes. For a first time runner, it starts with simple and manageable goals that start with brisk walk. The app also provides audio and video guides on how to run, what posture to maintain and how much to run. You can also ask questions which will be answered by physiotherapists and fitness experts. The app provides information on the distance covered every time one runs along with an estimate on the number of calories lost in the act. There is an audio player integrated within the app, so you can play music stored on your phone from the app itself.

Cloud Magic

Cloud Magic is an email aggregator that combines all email apps under one roof. While Gmail and Boxer have many of its features, Cloud Magic has a better interface. Not only you can access all the email configured from the home page but also access the calendar with all important dates like birthdays of friends and holidays. Sending a mail is even easier and involves fewer steps. Every account is coded on a customisable colour. It is easy to use and set up. Just configure the email accounts one by one and Cloud Magic will combine and present all inboxes together.
