Apprentice viewers stunned as they spot random man lying on the boardroom floor

Apprentice viewers were left in hysterics at the end of last night's Apprentice, and for once it wasn't down to the failures of the contestants.

Fans of the show claimed to spot a random man's body lying on the floor of the boardroom after Lord Sugar delivered some bad news to one of the teams.

This week the teams were teased to come up with a campaign to encourage tourists to visit Finland in the summer.

Team empower - led by Marianne Rawlins - were declared the losing team after their LGBTQ+ idea failed to impress Lord Sugar.

After the business mogul ordered the five members of Empower out of the boardroom while he decided which of them would get the chop, an unlikely figure appeared amongst them.

As each member walked to the main reception in turn, the head of a man could be seen lying down on the boardroom floor.

The alarming addition prompted one viewer to tweet the programme makers to find out what was gong on.

" @bbcapprentice Why is there a bloke laying on the floor in the boardroom? #TheApprentice ," they demanded to know.

The post was liked almost 1,000 times with other fans of the BBC business show demanding to know what was going on.

"My mum SCREAMED!" responded one viewer.

Another wrote: "I really need an answer to this."

Other users came up with theories of their own.

"I reckon that’s the camera man," speculated one. While another thought it could be a reflection.

"Just Ryan Mark being overly dramatic as usual!" joked another.

Contestant Jemelin Artigas became the seventh BAME contestant to leave The Apprentice (BBC / Boundless)

There was more controversy to come on last night's show as Jemelin Artigas became the seventh black and minority ethic contestant to be eliminated.

Following the firings of Shahin, Kenna, Souleyman, Lubna, Riyonn and Iasha, many fans raged that Jemelin's sacking was 'white privilege at work.'

It comes after contestant Lottie Lion has been allowed to continue on in the competition after telling fellow contestant Lubna to 'Shut up Ghandi.'

"Her comments were wholly unacceptable," said the BBC in response.
