Apprentice star says he tried to ‘seduce’ Celebs Go Dating co-star Liam on boozy Cyprus trip

Celebs Go Dating’s Navid Sole has admitted he harboured a crush on his ‘sexy’ co-star Liam Reardon during the filming of the E4 show.

The Apprentice star even admitted he made an attempt to seduce the Love Island star during a boozy evening when the cast flew to Cyprus.

The 28-year-old said that while the pair did share a ‘friendly cuddle and kiss’, the 23-year-old Welshman affirmed that he is indeed straight.

Navid admitted to the crush when quizzed on romances between the castmates during this series, which sees Liam turn up at the famous dating agency as a late arrival.

Speaking with The Sun, Navid said: “To be honest with you, there is one sexy celebrity on the show. He's sexy as hell.”

He continued: “I fancy Liam. Let's be real. I was trying my luck with Liam, but unfortunately I think he's 100 percent straight.

“I tried to seduce him, but unfortunately that didn't work. For me, he is the type.”

Navid went on to say that their little cuddle was off camera, so will not make the final cut of this year’s series of the show.

He added: “It happened mostly with Cyprus. I think we had just had too much to drink. The trip was amazing. We all got on really well.”

Celebs Go Dating kicked off last night with stars including Love Island's Laura Anderson and Gary Lucy turned to the dating agency for help with their love lives.

The first episode turned emotional as Laura broke down in tears when she recalled her heartbreak over her ex Dane Bowers.

The 33-year-old reached for a tissue as she opened up about her serious relationship ending after trying for a baby.

Laura dated Dane on and off for five years before they split in August while living with him out in Dubai.

Speaking to viewers, devastated Laura said: "I think my most recent break-up was the biggest in my life because it was so serious. I thought that he was 'the one'. We were trying for a baby."

The Scottish reality star met the E4 show's dating agents Anna Williamson and Paul C Brunson for the first time.

Laura told them: "I'm quite fresh out of a relationship, if I'm honest, which I thought was my life partner.

"We were planning a lot together and it didn't work out. I'm not really sure where I'm going wrong."
