Apprentice's Tom Skinner beams as twins come home from hospital after they 'nearly died'

Thomas Skinner has proudly shared a photo of his newborn twins at home after his wife gave birth.

The Apprentice star Thomas, 32, said his twin daughters were "little miracles" as he posted a snap of himself cradling the two bundles of joy.

In the photo, new dad-of-three Thomas can be seen smiling widely as he sits on a cream boucle sofa and cradles his newborn daughters, called Darna and Roma, who are laying on his chest and sleeping.

The little tots are sporting matching white and pink spotted baby grows in the touching image.

As he posted the photo to Twitter, Thomas revealed his daughters had returned home from hospital.

He said: "Darla & Roma are now back home from the hospital today.

"I’m enjoying cuddles on the sofa this evening with my little twins.

"I have two beautiful little miracles that I will love and cherish for the rest of my life.

"All the hospital staff are legends and thank you for looking after our little girls for the last 3 weeks. So happy to now have them home. Double Bosh" followed by a heart emoji.

He later posted another photo of himself and his friend, who he nicknames Big Lanks, carrying the tots in their carseats through the hospital corridors.

He wrote in the tweet above in the image: "I know every single person has this picture walking out the hospital with their new borns.

"But having one Big Lanks collect them made it extra special. He like a brother to me. We are home. I’ve just cooked my beautiful wife Sinead dinner and our family of 5 is all safe. Bosh" followed by a red heart emoji.

Last week Thomas announced the birth of his twin daughters and revealed the newborns and his wife Sinéad nearly died.

The Apprentice star turned social media personality's wife was rushed into hospital for an emergency C-section four weeks earlier than planned.

Thomas was away managing West Ham Legends and unfortunately he missed the birth of his twins.

Doctors warned if the C-section didn't take place both Sinéad and the twins' lives were in serious danger.

He told The Sun: "he doctor said to me they noticed in a routine scan that Twin B had not gained any weight and hasn’t grown at all, and her heartbeat is really slow.

"He told me ‘there’s a significant risk to your wife’s life and twins’ life if we don’t get them out immediately.

"We need to get these babies out within the next 24 hours - latest - but I want to do it now."

Tom made the decision to go back to the match and manage his team as he couldn't get another flight for five hours.

However, things took another turn when Sinéad's sister called Tom to tell him the twins' heart rates had dropped and the babies and his wife were in "real danger".

Tom "broke down" at the airport and pictured the prospect of telling his two-year-old son Henry "it's just him and me now".

Luckily, the operation went well and Tom arrived at the hospital to meet his daughters although, at the time, they had "wires hanging out of them, all these tubes".
