The Apprentice Boys of Derry have cancelled their Glasgow Easter Sunday march.
It comes after Glasgow City Council decided to reroute the protestant group's procession away from St Mary's Church and St Alphonsus Church, where the parish priest was attacked and spat on in an incident last July.
Bradley Wallace, 24, was jailed for 10 months in February after he spat on Canon Thomas White outside his church on London Road during the annual Boyne march.
Now a notice on Glasgow City Council's website said that the planned walk had been "withdrawn".
Councillors made an intervention at a Public Processions Committee on Tuesday after 80 letters of concern were submitted from members of the public and parishioners of the church.

Although Police Scotland raised no objections to The Apprentice Boys of Derry marching, councillors decided to re-route the walk after concerns were raised that it would "inflame tensions" in the local community.
The Apprentice Boys of Derry were forced to divert their Remembrance Day parade away from St Alphonsus Church last November amid fears of violent clashes with protesters.
The Orange Order has submitted plans to the council for July 6 parades across Glasgow - with members from a number of district groups set to pass St Alphonsus' Church as part of the route.
