Apprentice adviser Claude Littner shares truth of contestants' business plans

The Apprentice adviser Claude Littner has shared some behind the scenes info regarding the business plans of candidates on the BBC show.

Viewers, who will tune in tonight for the big final, wondered at what stage in the process Lord Sugar and his advisers get to see the business plans of the contestants on the show,

After a fan asked Claude on Twitter: “I presume the candidates have to submit at the beginning of the application process?”, Claude replied: “Submitted, unopened and unread.”

He added: “Fired candidates have their plans returned unopened and unread. Only those who make it to interview have business plans scrutinised.”

Claude also said he only sees business plans “four or five days” before his big interviews with candidates.

The aide had a bike accident which stopped him from making most filming dates this year, but he plans to return full time for the next series.

Meantime co-star Karren Brady revealed she doesn't always dress well for The Apprentice.

She told The Sun: “Sometimes I have tracksuit bottoms and trainers on, and a smart top. I have actually had my slippers on in that boardroom and sometimes they show the camera and you can actually see my slippers in the reflection.”
