Applications are now open for BBC quiz show Pointless

We all know someone who claims to be the ultimate Pointless player.

But let's face it, it is all well and good sitting at home on the couch with no cash prize on the line.

Well now there are no excuses for fans of the BBC quiz show. Applications are open once again for those who fancy themselves, with Pointless looking for 'pairs of fantastic contestants'.

A spokesperson for the show, hosted by Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman, said: "Pointless is back and looking for new pairs of fantastic contestants.

"Could you trust your friend, your mum, your grandad, your boyfriend or your work colleague under pressure?

"We would like to hear from pairs of people who think they can take up the challenge."
