Apple unveils new MacBook Air with incredible 18-hour battery life

Apple has announced a new MacBook Air laptop featuring the tech giant’s own ARM-based processor.

The new laptop was revealed during Apple's One More Thing event, which is currently underway in California.

The MacBook Air has a 13-inch display, and is 3.5 faster than the previous generation MacBook, allowing you to manage data much more quickly and easily.

It has five times faster graphics - the biggest leap ever for MacBook Air!

It features Apple's new M1 chip, making it faster than 98% of PCs sold in the last year.

It has no fan, which means its completely silent, even when processing.

Amazingly, it has the longest battery life in any MacBook Air, lasting for up to 18 hours on a single charge.

It has Touch ID, making it easy to lock and unlock your Mac, and even pay with just a touch of the finger.

The laptop starts at just $999 (UK prices yet to be announced).
