Apple has unveiled a whole range of new products, including a new home device, a magnetic tech system to connect Apple systems and the new iPhone 12.
In a special Apple event, streamed live from Apple Park on October 13, the much anticipated new iPhone with 5G technology, was described as a "step change" in what we can do with our phones.
"Today is the beginning of a new era for iPhone," proclaimed an Apple spokesman. "Today we are bringing 5G to iPhone. This is a huge moment and we're really excited."
5G will double the download and upload speeds for iPhones, which will improve video, photos, gaming and the overall smartphone experience.
"iPhone is an incredibly powerful and personal device," said an Apple spokesman. "The product we use the most every day. It's never been more indispensable than it is now.
"Every decade there is a new generation of technology that provides a step change in what we can do with our iPhones. The next generation is here."
The iPhone 12 comes in five colours - black, white, red, green and blue. The iPhone is smaller than previous phone, but with a custom screen to make it appear bigger. It's described as the smallest, thinnest, lightest 5G phone in the world.
The higher resolution screen comes with twice as many pixels to improve photo quality. And the cover glass is ceramic shield, making it more durable than previous phones - with four times better drop performance.
There's also a Pro model of the iPhone 12 which includes Dolby quality cinematic level video capturing and is billed as the "photographer's phone".
The iPhone 12 and 12 Pro will be available for pre order from this Friday, October 16, for delivery on October 23 and iPhone 12 Pro Max and 12 Mini available on November 6.

The iPhone 12 will include new MagSafe technology - magnets that allow new cases, new wallets and new charging technology to snap onto them safely. Apple has also developed a new MagSafe dual charger to charge an Apple iPhone and Apple Watch together.
Apple also unveiled at the event the new HomePod Mini - a smart device for the home. Costing $99, it is available from November 6.
