Apple TV+ show ‘See’ starring Jason Momoa to end after 3rd season

Apple fans might not see this coming.

The Jason Momoa series “See” — about a future in which humans can no longer see — will be taking its final bow on Apple TV+ after its third season, the company announced Wednesday.

“We are thrilled to share this epic final chapter of ‘See,’ which delivers all the intense drama, riveting action and heartfelt emotion fans have come to expect, as well as what we think is a deeply satisfying conclusion to our story,” said showrunner and executive producer Jonathan Tropper.

Pointing to the “particularly unique and continue challenge” of depicting a world in which sight no longer existed, Tropper praised the “phenomenally talented and diverse team both in front of and behind the camera.”

“The show has been a monumental labor of love for all involved, and we are eternally grateful for the way ‘See’ has been embraced by viewers around the world.”

The news that this season, returning to the streamer Aug. 26, is the last arrived along with a new teaser.

The end of “See” isn’t the end of the 42-year-old “Aquaman” star’s relationship with Apple as he’s starring in the streamer’s upcoming limited series, “Chief of War.”
