Apple holds its annual Worldwide Developer Conference in June every year, and now we have official confirmation of the dates and times for the conference.
This year's version is scheduled for June 8 - 12, so we still have a couple of months to wait until the big show. Apple announced the dates much earlier than in previous years.
The keynote speech, where most of the big announcements happen, is scheduled to kick off on Monday, June 8. We don't have a starting time, but it usually starts around 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT.
The bulk of the conference will be developer-focused, but the keynote usually features new consumer-focused reveals.
What to expect from WWDC 2026
Apple's latest press release doesn't tell us too much about what the company will announce in Cupertino.
This year's logo is far more metallic and goth than WWDC 2025's pastel rainbow. Though it does fade in from dark to bright, suggesting illumination or coming into the light. No cute tag line like "over the horizon" from last year's conference.
The press release does specifically mention "AI advancements" and "exciting new software." No surprises there, AI has been a major focus of the last two conferences since Apple Intelligence was revealed in 2024.
Apple entered into an AI partnership with Google Gemini this year, so we expect to hear more about how that is changing Apple Intelligence and the long-delayed Siri 2.0.
We'll for sure hear about the next upgrades to iOS in the form of iOS 27, expected to debut with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Fold later this year.
If Siri 2.0 is finally working, Apple could reveal its new HomePad, Apple's attempt at truly entering the smart home market. Apple has been rumored to be developing a new "Charismatic" smart home OS built specifically for smart devices like the HomePad.
As of this writing, there aren't any rumors about other new hardware, but that doesn't mean Apple won't announce something.
