Apple makes another loss

Apple Computer has posted its second consecutive losing quarter, ending up $8 million in the red after taking a $17 million after-tax restructuring charge to cover plant and office closures and job losses. In the same quarter last year, Apple made a profit of $38 million. This time, sales grew by 7% to $1.47 billion, only very slightly below the average Wall Street forecast of $1.49 billion, reports Reuters.
