Apple launches new AirPods 3 and orders are open, prices and order dates confirmed

Apple has launched new Apple AirPods 3 with longer battery life and improved sound in a major announcement.

Orders are now open for the Apple AirPods 3, which were launched via a live stream in the UK.

They have a new design, more powerful base, cleaner higher frequencies and they are sweat and water resistant. The Airpods have a new contoured design and Adaptive EQ - which adapts to you to keep sound at its best quality.

Sound will now surround you and be multi-dimensional.

It will feature Dolby Atmos and will provide a theatre-like experience for music and films.

The Airpods will cost $179 in the US and UK prices are set to be confirmed shortly.
