Today, Apple unveiled its 2019 iPhones, the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, much to the delight of eager fans.
One key feature highlighted in all three new iPhones is the ability to take slow motion videos using the front-facing camera.
Apple is calling these videos ‘slofies’, and the term is already making fans cringe.
Many have taken to Twitter to express their disgust at the new term.
One user said: “I’m already calling ‘slofie’ the worst word of 2019.”
Another tweeted: “Slofie is the definite cringe worthy moment of the event.”
And one joked: “We must veto the usage of ‘slofie’. Please and thank you.”
