Buddies are being asked to help reunite an artist with their long-lost work.
Geoff O’Donell moved into his home on Neilston Road about five years ago.
Recently he was clearing out the shed in the garden as it was being knocked down when he came across a hidden portfolio of work by Garry Moore.
Inside were dozens of cartoon drawings, all dated from the 1980s, mainly 1984 and 1988.
The person Geoff bought the house from has since passed away and he’s got no idea how to track Garry down to return his drawings.

So he turned to the Paisley Daily Express to see if we could appeal to our readers for help.
Geoff told the PDE: “The shed was coming down in the back garden so I had to clear it out.
“Then I found the portfolio which had dozens of drawings, mostly cartoons.
“I put it on a local Facebook page but no one knew anything. Now I’m hoping Paisley Daily Express readers can help.”
Geoff said the person he bought the house from wasn’t called Moore and he doesn’t have any other idea how to track the artist down.
The pen drawings are both colour and black and white and some have comedic captions on them, as you’d sometimes find in a newspaper. There are some depicting Egyptians fighting and others of stereotypical Scottish scenes.

Geoff hopes he can return the drawings to the rightful owner, or a family member.
He said: “I hope he reads this or a family member. Or maybe someone lived close by in the 1980s and remembers him. He must have been at least in his late teens or early 20s judging by the quality of the drawings, if not older. That would make him in his 60s now if he’s still alive.
“There’s no value to them, I’d just love to get them back to their rightful owner or his family.”
