Appeal to trace relatives of man, 60, found dead in Paisley home

An appeal has been launched to trace the relatives of a 60-year-old man found dead in his Paisley home.

Richard Reid was found at his home address in Alice Street on January 9.

Police Scotland has confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Officers are now appealing to trace members of Richard's family following the discovery.

It is believed that he was born in the Barrhead area.

A statement from the force reads: "Anyone who has knowledge of Richard's family is asked to contact police via 101 quoting incident number 3061 of 9 January 2022.

"Alternatively you can email CJSD Bereavement Amin Support at CJSDBereavementAdminSupport@scotland.pnn.police.uk."
