Appeal to track down ex-prisoner missing in Renfrewshire

Police have launched an appeal to trace an ex-prisoner who has gone missing in Renfrewshire.

Officers are trying to trace Joe McGee, 32, who has breached the terms of his licence after being released from HMP Greenock on 9 November, 2019.

They have been carrying out extensive enquiries in the areas he is known to have connections, including Paisley, Bridge of Weir, Linwood and Johnstone.

He is described as white, around 5ft 6ins, of medium build, with short black hair and a tattoo on his right arm.

Officers from Renfrew Police Station are appealing for anyone who may have seen Joe or has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts to get in touch.

Renfrew Police Office can be contacted by calling 101 or alternatively the charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
