Appeal to trace missing Gourock man last seen boarding train to Glasgow

An appeal is underway to help trace a missing man from Gourock who was last seen boarding a train to Glasgow.

Colin Wood, 43, was reported missing from his home address in Gourock, and was last seen boarding a train at Fort Matilda, Greenock about 9.40am yesterday morning.

Police believe he got off the train at Glasgow Central Station.

Colin is described as 5'10, short bleached blonde hair, stocky build with tattoos on both arms. He also has the word HOPE tattooed on his right hand.

Sergeant Dean Shankie from Greenock Police said :"Colin's family are concerned about the safety and wellbeing of Colin and I would urge him to make contact with his family or the Police to confirm that he is safe and well".

"Anyone who has any information regarding Colins whereabouts is asked to contact Greenock Police Office on 101 quoting incident number 3274 of 11/03/20".
