Appeal to trace getaway Skoda driver who fled scene of two car firebomb attacks in Motherwell

Police in Motherwell are appealing for witnesses after four vehicles were set on fire in the Ravenscraig area.

Around 11.15pm on Monday 24 January, a car and a van were deliberately set alight on McTaggart Crescent.

Two cars were then targeted in the same street, around 10.50pm on Sunday 30 January.

Detective Sergeant Frank Donaghy from Wishaw CID said: “Thankfully nobody was injured in these incidents. We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or has CCTV or dash-cam footage to get in touch.

“A dark coloured Skoda Fabia estate car was seen in the area on both evenings, we keen to trace the driver of this vehicle.”
