Appeal to trace convicted Rochdale drug dealer who has absconded from prison

A convicted drug dealer from Rochdale has gone on the run from a Lancashire prison.

Ben Fay absconded from HMP Kirkham on Sunday, October 27.

The 28-year-old was locked up in June last year for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply, aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving.

He was sentenced to four years in prison at Minshull Street Crown Court.

Fay is described as being 6ft tall and of medium build.

He has brown eyes, receding brown hair and a Northern accent, police said in a Facebook post.

Lancashire Police said he has links to both Rochdale and Lancashire.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting log number 1530 of October 27.

Reports can also be made to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
