Appeal to find wanted man as public warned NOT to approach him

Police have issued an appeal to find a wanted man - and warned the public not to approach him if they see him.

Christopher Averkiou has links to Droylsden and Audenshaw in Tameside, as well as to Blackpool, police said.

Officers want to speak to the 37-year-old in relation to an investigation into threats to kill, assault and harassment.

A post on the Blackpool Police Facebook page described Averkiou as being 5ft 10in tall, of slim build, white and with short, brown hair.

The post warned the public not to approach him if they see him.

Instead, they are being urged to 999 straight away to report any immediate sightings.

Non-immediate sightings can be reported via email on 4557@lancashire.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting log 0661 of October 26, 2021.
