Appeal to find missing teenager Caitlin Black who may have travelled to Northern Ireland

An appeal has been launched to find a missing teenager who may have travelled to Northern Ireland.

Caitlin Black, 18, of Winsford, Cheshire, has not been seen or heard from by her family since November 17.

The teenager, who is originally from NI, was reported missing on November 24 when family became increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Police said their enquiries have established Caitlin likely left Winsford via the Train Station sometime between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on November 18 and may have travelled to Liverpool.

The PSNI have now said that she may have travelled to Northern Ireland and could be in the South Down area.

The missing 18-year-old is described as being 5ft 6ins tall and of slim build. She has long faded pink blonde hair.

She was also said to be carrying a suitcase and was wearing jeans or leggings.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Caitlin Black is 18 years old & we believe she may be in the South Down area.

"Caitlin was reported missing to Cheshire Police & enquiries indicate she may have travelled to Northern Ireland.

"If you know where Caitlin is or have any information please call 101 ref 640 251121."
