Appeal to find missing missing Carol, 66, who has not been seen for two days

A vulnerable woman has not been seen for two days and police have launched an appeal to find her.

Carol was last seen on Tuesday (July 6) and was reported missing from her home in Fishponds, Bristol, yesterday.

Avon and Somerset Police has released a description of her and are asking the public to call 999 if they see her.

Police said in a statement: "Carol was last seen at about 1.30pm on Tuesday, July 6, when she was wearing a dark-coloured long-sleeve top and leggings or pyjama bottoms and shoes with a flower on the front.

"She's a white woman, about 5ft 5ins tall and of heavy build with greyish-brown hair worn in a short pony tail.

"Carol is described as having a frail appearance and greyer hair than shown in the photo. She's not believed to have any money with her but may attempt to use buses or taxis and could have travelled to Bath."

Anybody who sees Carol is asked to call 999 immediately quoting reference 5221152714.

People with any other information which could help to trace her is asked to ring 101 and give the same reference.
