Appeal to find man missing 'without money or phone'

Police are appealing for help to find a man believed to be missing without any money or a phone in Stockport.

Soloman Gebrezgi was last seen on Wilmslow Road in Cheadle Hulme at around 11.30am on Wednesday (October 14).

The 29-year-old is described by police as an 'Eritrean national with dark skin' and is 5ft 4ins tall with a slim build and shaved head.

He also has prominent scars on his body from the neck down.

He was last seen wearing a blue jumper, blued sliders, and a light blue and white jacket with red labels on the outside.

Anyone who sees Soloman is asked not to approach him but contact police immediately on 999, according to a post on GMP Stockport's Facebook page.

In the post, police wrote: "He is believed to not be in possession of money nor a phone and officers are becoming increasingly concerned about his welfare and want to ensure he is safe."

Anyone with details about his whereabouts is asked to call police on 0161 856 9774.
