Appeal to find family of pensioner who died alone in Glasgow’s Townhead

Police have asked for help in tracing relatives of an elderly man found dead in his home.

Alexander Hogg, 80, passed away in the Townhead area and his body was discovered on May 5.

Police Scotland says there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Hogg’s death.

Officers have very little information about his life, although they believe he may have had a sister named Jean.

Anyone with information on Mr Hogg or his family are asked to contact the London Road admin department on 0141 532 4656 between 7am and 3pm Monday to Friday.
