Appeal to find boy, 14, who disappeared from home in school uniform

Police are appealing for help to trace a 14-year-old who disappeared after leaving home in his school uniform.

Abubakr Khan, who lives in Haslingden, was last seen on Monday morning (January 20), police said.

The 14-year-old is 4ft 11ins tall and has a slight moustache.

He has black hair, with a short back and sides haircut.

He was wearing a navy blue school blazer, white shirt, black trousers with a blue and red tie when he went missing, a post on the Rossendale Police Facebook page said.

He was also wearing a black bomber jacket and was carrying a black Adidas rucksack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log reference number 1413 of 20/01/20.
