Appeal launched to trace missing Meath woman Martina Cranitch, 31, who has not been seen in two weeks

An appeal has been launched by gardai to find a missing 31-year-old woman.

Martina Cranitch was last seen on December 15 in Ashbourne, Co Meath and has not returned since.

Her family are concerned for her wellbeing.

A number of sightings in the Dublin area have been reported since Martina went missing however, none have been confirmed, Dublin Live reports.

Martina is five feet, three inches in height,  with brown hair and brown eyes.

When she was last seen, Martina was wearing a grey hooded top, jeans and white runners and was carrying a handbag.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí in Ashbourne are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 31-year-old Martina Cranitch.

"Martina was last seen on the 15/12/2019 when she left her home in Co. Meath."

"Her family are concerned for her wellbeing and have sought assistance from Gardaí in locating her.

"Martina is described as approximately 5' 3" in height, with brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen Martina was wearing a grey hooded top, jeans and white runners. She was carrying a handbag.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Ashbourne Garda Station on 01 - 8010600, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station."
