Appeal launched to help trace two men reported missing in Lanarkshire

Police are appealing for help from the public as they launch efforts to trace two men who have been reported missing in Lanarkshire.

Thomas Duffy, 60, was last seen in an address in Kirkhill Street, Wishaw at around 7pm on Sunday. He has not been seen since and there are growing concerns for his welfare.

Thomas is described as white, 5ft 5in tall and of heavy/medium build with grey hair. It is unknown what he may be wearing. He is known to travel all over the country by public transport.

Meanwhile police are also appealing for the public’s support to trace Sean Martin.

Sean was last seen between 2:30pm and 3pm on Monday in the Abronhill area of Cumbernauld.

Sean is described as 6ft tall, medium build with short brown hair and he was last seen wearing a white knitted jumper, blue jeans, a black Superdry jacket and white trainers.

Anyone who may have seen Thomas or Sean since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2041 of 05/04/2022, and anyone who may have seen Thomas or has any information is asked to quote incident number 1087 of 6 April, 2022.

UPDATE: Both Thomas Duffy and Sean Martin have been traced safe and well.
