Appeal launched to find 15-year-old Sophie McSeveney missing from Bellshill home

An appeal has been launched to find a teenager missing from the Bellshill area.

Police Scotland are searching for 15-year-old Sophie McSeveney was last seen at about 2.51am this morning (Thursday, November 21) on Calder Road.

She is described as a white female, around 5ft 9 in height, of a medium build with long blonde hair. She was last seen wearing black leggings, a black top and carrying a black rucksack.

Police are calling for anyone with information about her whereabouts to get in touch with them.

Anyone who could assist is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0322 of 21st November 2019.
