Appeal launched to find 13-year-old girl missing from home

An appeal has been launched to find a 13-year-old girl missing from home since Saturday night.

Police are asking for help to trace Faith Cooil, from Appley Bridge in West Lancashire . The schoolgirl was last seen at around 8:50pm on Saturday at the One Stop Shop on Hollybrook Road in Southport .

Police believe she have been walking to Ainsdale Train Station on Sunday morning.

She is described as white and five foot tall with a slim build and auburn brown long hair and was last seen wearing a green Khaki coat with a black top and jeans with black trainers.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "If you know Faith or have any information to assist us with her safe return home, please ring 101 quoting Log Number - LC-20190330-1622 or Investigation number - 04/65153/19."
