Appeal launched for missing Irvine man last seen on Tuesday

Police are appealing for assistance and information from the public to trace a missing 31-year-old man from Irvine.

Colin Duncan, was last seen at 3.15pm on Tuesday, August 20, leaving Woodland View, Kilwinning Road, Irvine.

Colin is described as 5ft 6in, medium build with black hair and blue eyes. At the time he was last seen he was wearing a navy hoodie, black trousers, a green and white striped t-shirt and light green trainers.

Sergeant Ross Cree of Irvine Police Office, said: “Colin is from East Ayrshire, and he may have travelled back to the Kilmarnock / Irvine Valley area however we are conducting enquires across Ayrshire.

"Although Colin has spoken with family members by telephone we are keen to trace him to confirm he is safe and well.

“We would appeal to anyone who knows of Colin’s whereabouts to come forward, and we would also appeal for Colin himself to let family or the police know where he is.”

Anyone with information should contact Police via 101 quoting incident number 2289 of Tuesday August 20.
