Appeal launched for missing Easterhouse girl, 12, last seen 48 hours ago

An appeal has been launched for a  missing 12-year-old girl from Easterhouse.

Police are appealing for information after Michaela Lee went missing from her home in North Glasgow.

Michaela was last seen at 11.45pm on Friday 18 September 2020 when she left and has not returned.

She is known to frequent the Drumchapel, Knightswood and Yoker areas of Glasgow.

Sergeant Ryan Curran from Easterhouse Police Office said “Our concerns are growing for Michaela due to the length of time she has been out contact.

"Her family are growing increasingly concerned for her and are keen to have her back safely and as soon as possible.

"Our enquiries reveal that she is continuing to frequent those areas and I am asking for the community to assist us in tracing her whereabouts."

"She is a 12 year old girl who has now been out of touch for almost two days. I am certain people in the Drumchapel, Knightswood and Yoker communities know this young girl and know where she is."

"I am urging them to come forward and contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number PS20200918-2123".
