Appeal launched for man missing from Renfrew

Police have launched an appeal to trace a man missing from Renfrew.

Thomas Christie, 44, was last seen about 8:30pm on Thursday 16 July in the Eastwood area of Glasgow.

He is 5'7, with brown hair and blue coloured eyes. He was last seen wearing black coloured jogging trousers, navy blue t-shirt and white trainers and he occasionally wears glasses.

Thomas has access to a green coloured Vauxhall Zafira motor vehicle, registration number SJ05 WLH. He often visits the Balloch, Luss and Loch Lomond areas.

Sergeant Dean Shankie from Renfrew Police Office said: "This is out of character for Thomas not to be in contact with his family for this length of time. I would appeal to Thomas to make contact with either his family or the Police as soon as possible to confirm that he is safe and well as his family are concerned for his safety".

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Thomas is asked to contact Police on 101 quoting incident number 2436 of 18/07/20.
