Appeal for witnesses after motorcycle collides with pedestrian in Earl’s Court

Met Police detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a serious collision in Earl’s Court.

Police were called at about 6.50pm on Friday to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian at the junction of Warwick Road and West Cromwell Road.

Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

The 59-year-old pedestrian was taken to a central London hospital with serious injuries. He remains in a life threatening condition.

The motorcyclist – a 21-year-old man – was treated at the scene and also taken to hospital. His condition is not life-threatening.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or captured it on dash cam is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 020 8543 5157 or via 101 quoting reference CAD 6632/05Aug.
