Animal welfare experts are appealing for a new home a friendly young dog.
Merlin is a four-year-old Irish Wolfhound currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder.
His carers say he is a friendly dog who loves saying hello to everyone he meets.
A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “Merlin enjoys lazing around in the garden or enjoying a run around with his toys, especially the soft squeaky ones.
“He likes being out on his walks, walks great on his lead and will happily make friends with other polite dogs whilst out on his walks.
“Merlin would like owners who are home most of the day to help him with settle into his home and keep him company. He can live with children of 12 years and above.”
If you think you think you could provide a home for Merlin or any of the 50 dogs currently available for rehoming, please contact the centre on 01506 873459.
