Animal welfare experts are appealing for a new home for Leo a one-year-old Lurcher currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder.
His carers say Leo is a happy boy who loves being around people, is affectionate, loving, and super playful.
A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “Leo enjoys going for adventurous walks and investigating in the long grass.
“He would love his own garden where he can spend time chasing after his favourite ball.
“Leo walks beautifully on his lead in quiet area’s and can meet calm friendly dogs who are similar in size to him. Leo can find it difficult spending time on his own and will need his owners to keep him company during the day.”
